Laura Wolfe Laura Wolfe, originally from Montgomery, AL, began studying ballet at Montgomery Ballet and furthered her training at the Alabama Dance Theatre with guidance by Kitty Seale, Haynes Owens, and Foye Dubose. She attended and received scholarships to Joffrey Ballet School, Ballet Academy East, School of American Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre. From 2007 to 2008, she trained at Ballet Academy East, under direction of Darla Hoover, where she took classes with remarkable teachers from New York City Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre. Last summer, she attended the ballet program at Jacob's Pillow and performed in the season opening Gala. Ms. Wolfe's favorite roles include Kitri and Amour in Don Quixote, Swanilda in Coppelia, and Mirliton in The Nutcracker. This is her third season with Kansas City Ballet.
