Marcus Oatis

Marcus Oatis, a native of Kansas City, began his training with the summer program Ailey Camp and subsequently began studying at the Center Dance and Kansas City Ballet. Additionally, Mr. Oatis performed with Ailey Camp The Group and Paseo Academy of the Fine and Performing Arts. While completing his B.M. in music performance, he began working with Omaha Dance Project under the direction of Sara Mau and Jonathan Fagan. With Kansas City Ballet, Mr. Oatis has been featured in Jessica Lang's Splendid Isolation III and Jose Limon's The Moor's Pavane. This is his third season with Kansas City Ballet.
