Link This piece is a plotless exploration of Boccherini’s music score. The composer is credited as being one of the links between 18th century court music (style gallant) and what is thought of as Viennese classicism. In much the same way, Hineline created this piece by working within the framework of classical ballet vocabulary, but tinkering and twisting it in an effort to ascertain a relevant contemporary movement statement derived from its historical roots. In short, creating a “link” to the future by looking to the past.
