	Kansas City Ballet is committed to sharing its joy of dance with all people, and education is an important component of that mission. We offer pre-curtain talks , called Footnotes, as well as pre-performance programs to offer our audiences a special opportunity to hear artists and dance scholars talk about dance. Ballet has a rich history. Beginning in France in the fifteenth century it has evolved into the intricate art form that you see today performed by companies such as Kansas City Ballet.
