Kansas City Ballet shares the joy of dance with students of all ages.

The Nutcracker Matinees

Kansas City Ballet’s spectacular production of this ballet classic, choreographed by Todd Bolender, presents brilliant costumes and sets, dazzling special effects and live orchestral accompaniment. This performance will spark the imagination and provide new ways to enhance learning through the arts. A pre-performance workshop is also available.

Time: 10:30 a.m.
Fee:  All seats $10 – includes teacher study guide
Audience: Grades 2-12
Length: 2 hours (includes intermission)
Chaperones:  (Not more than) 1 per 15 students

Inclement Weather Policy
Due to the varying weather policies of area schools planning to attend our student matinee performances, Kansas City Ballet will offer an alternate opportunity to attend a ballet performance or educational program in the event that a school is unable to attend their scheduled performance of The Nutcracker.  Refunds will be given only in the event of cancellation of a performance by Kansas City Ballet.
