A message from the Board President Siobhan McLaughlin Lesley –

I am thrilled to share with you the news that the Kansas City Ballet -- just last evening -- signed the documents formalizing our commitment to renovate the Union Station Power House.  It will transform in just 22 months from now into the Todd Bolender Center for Dance & Creativity, the new home of Kansas City Ballet!
 
This facility will be one of the country’s finest for professional dance and training, as well as a resource for the entire Kansas City community.  It will not only bring us significantly closer to meeting our goal of making Kansas City a dance destination, but it will also make yet another bold statement about Kansas City’s commitment to an excellent arts environment just as the Bloch Building at the Nelson Atkins Museum and the development of the Crossroads Arts District has done.
