Presenting four pivotal figures in American dance who have special significance to Kansas City Ballet. Featuring George Balanchine’s Serenade with music of Tchaikovsky, Jerome Robbins’ Afternoon of a Faun with music of Debussy, Todd Bolender’s Souvenirs with music of Barber and Kansas City Ballet premiere of Peter Martins’ Les Gentilhommes with music of Händel. All performances will take place in the Muriel Kauffman Theatre at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, with Kansas City Symphony providing the music.
