The 53rd season will kick off with a fan favorite and three works by Balanchine on October 14-17 at the Lyric Theatre.

A parody of Broadway theatrics, Russian ballet,
and the mob, Slaughter on Tenth Avenue, set in a
tacky strip joint, tells the story of a jealous Russian
premier danseur who hires a mobster to kill a rival
during the premiere of a new ballet. Don’t miss this
comedy filled with Russian gangsters, sultry
strippers and murder!
