Don't miss this haunting story of love, betrayal and revenge on March 10-13 at the Lyric Theatre! It’s all played out in stunning simplicity in Giselle, the story of a peasant girl and her love for a young aristocrat disguised as a commoner. Performed in two acts, this evening-length ballet tells a story of innocence, betrayal, death and forgiveness. Kansas City Ballet’s dynamic season continues with this classic romantic ballet that stole the hearts of Kansas City audiences when it debuted in 2003. The beloved and haunting score by Adolphe Adam will be played by the Kansas City Symphony under the baton of Kansas City Ballet Music Director Ramona Pansegrau. “Giselle” is nearly perfect. It’s got love, betrayal, redemption and death, not to mention scenes of painterly dancing.” Want to learn more about this show and other insider information? Follow us on Facebook and Twitter!
